Post Script to UI Matters

P.S. to UI Matters

Although the new possibilities are truly dazzling, I wonder how soon classic windows forms will be perceived as primitive. I mean looking at some of this stuff it is almost like the leap from legacy console apps to windows.
As revolutionary as Windows Communication Foundation and Worflow Foundation are- since nobody outside of engineering really cares about plumbing- I wonder if UI be the next "killer app"? I am thinking the rate of Vista adoption might make one heck of a benchmark.
Thoughts?
