Space shuttles aren't built for rocket scientists, they're built for astronauts. The goal isn't the ship, its the moon.

Could not find UXCore.dll when starting Windows Live Writer 2012

I recently installed Windows Live Writer which was an upgrade from the previous version.

Unfortunately, after I upgraded, when I went to start WLW, I got a rude error indicating that UXCore.dll could not be found.

In poking around, I found a folder called “Shared” in the root of the Windows Live folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Shared

Copying all of the DLLs in the Shared folder to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Writer folder solved the issue.

Hope this helps anyone who encounters the same issue.

    Happy writing!
